In case you are not aware, Steel Night Live received two awards in the recent with David Grant, receiving the Media Personality of the Year award, and the whole SNL Team receiving the services to the fans award.
Although the Media Personality of the year award was between two SNL members (the runner-up being our very own Neil Edwards) the Services To The Fans awards was against the SSHOF team – and the SNL team came out on top.
The whole team would like to thank everyone who voted for us, and we’d like to say thank you for everyone who has viewed the text commentary, and listen to our audio commentaries throughout the back end of the season, and that we hope that you’ve enjoyed our production – as I know we’ve enjoyed producing it.
We are hopeful for the same, fantastic coverage next season – and as and when we know where Sheffield’s destination lies in Europe, we will hopefully add another European adventure to the SNL resume.
Well here we are, after starting with a comprehensive victory over Dundee in September, we are now at the last weekend of the season – and Sheffield have the opportunity to claim another Elite League double. For that they have to win two games in two days, starting with a quiet affair against #SexyNeilsonHockey and the Nottingham Panthers. If Ben Simon’s team overcomes this hurdle, they will face the winners of a repeat of last year’s final, with the Cardiff Devils and the Belfast Giants.
